It’s here! E L James’s new book Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian hits shelves today. Written from the perspective of Christian Grey, the novel follows the plot of the first book in the bestselling series, when Christian and Ana begin their white-hot romance.

We got our hands on an early copy of Grey and stayed up all night reading to find the book’s sexiest moments. Let’s just say, James certainly didn’t disappoint! Below is a taste of what you can expect from Grey.

She frowns. “If you have willing volunteers, why am I here?”

“Because I want to do this with you, very much.” Visions of her tied up in various positions around the room overwhelm my imagination; on the cross, on the bed, over the bench…

She tastes luscious. Wine, grapes, and innocence — a potent, heady mix of flavors. I fold my arms tightly around her, relieved that she grips only my upper arms.

I glance toward the entrance of the bar… and my mouth dries. She’s standing on the threshold, and for a second I don’t realize it’s her. She looks exquisite: her hair falls in soft waves to her breast on one side, and on the other it’s pinned back so it’s easier to see her delicate jawline and the gentle curve of her slender neck. She’s wearing high heels and a tight dark purple dress that accentuates her lithe, alluring figure. Wow.

Abruptly I spin her around so she’s facing me. I grasp her wrists in one of my hands, holding them behind her back, while I tug on her ponytail with the other, bringing her lips up to mine. I kiss her, consuming her mouth, reveling in the taste of her: orange juice and sweet, sweet Ana. Her breathing is harsh, like mine.

Stepping toward her, I clasp her head, and we step back so she’s against the tiled wall, her lips parting as she inhales. Holding her face and lacing my fingers into her hair, I kiss her: her cheek, her throat, her mouth. She’s nectar and I can’t get enough. Her breath catches in her throat and she grasps my arms, but at her touch there’s no protest from the darkness within. There’s just Ana, in all her beauty and innocence, kissing me back with a fervor that matches mine.

Has she ever looked this hot? She’s totally and willingly at my mercy. The knowledge is intoxicating, and I stand for a moment to marvel at her generosity and courage.
