Hulu has released a second trailer for its highly anticipated adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s classic dystopian novel, The Handmaid’s Tale. The teaser — which is every bit as disturbing as the first trailer — is set to be shown during this Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Hulu’s 10-episode season brings Atwood’s terrifying totalitarian society to life, with Elisabeth Moss starring as the handmaid Offred and Joseph Fiennes as the Commander she serves. In this clip, we get our first chilling glimpses of the handmaids’ lives serving as society’s childbearers. As Moss boldly declares in the voice over, “My name is Offred, and I intend to survive.”
Alexis Bledel, Max Minghella, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, and O.T. Fagbenle also star in The Handmaid’s Tale, which premieres on April 26.
