The highly anticipated HBO adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s bestselling book Big Little Lies premieres on February 19, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for our favorite feuding moms.
While the seven-episode miniseries is expected to stay true to Moriarty’s bestseller, there will be some key differences. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer and writer David E. Kelley said:
“What was challenging was living up to the book, living up to the complications of some of those characters and also having to make cuts, because there are nuggets in the book that if we had more time, we could’ve explored more crevices.”
