Romance fans, get excited! Passionflix, a Netflix-style streaming service focusing on romance, is planning to make all your dreams come true. Launching in September, Passionflix promises to bring your favorite romance novel adaptations to your screen with classics like Pride and Prejudice and Love Story and steamy treats like Fifty Shades of Grey. What’s more, Passionflix will also offer original content, featuring film and TV series adaptations based on novels by some of your favorite romance authors.

So far, Passionflix has several feature length movies currently in production, including Alessandra Torre’s Hollywood Dirt, which releases on September 20. Check out the trailer for Torre’s Hollywood Dirt, starring Emma Rigby and Johann Urb, below:

Also in the works are Sylvia Day’s Afterburn/Aftershock (November), Jill Shalvis’s The Trouble with Mistletoe (December), and Brenda Jackson’s A Brother’s Honor (2018). In addition to the four movies already in production, Passionflix has optioned the rights to several popular novels, including Jodi Ellen Malpas’s This Man series, Jennifer L. Armentrout’s young adult fantasy series Wicked, and works from Melissa Foster, J. Kenner, and CD Reiss, amongst others. The service will categorize movies based on a “Barometer of Naughtiness” rating from 1 to 5, promising something for every mood and every type of viewer.

Passionflix is a women-centric concept developed by three visionary women: Joany Kate, and producers Jina Panebianco and Tosca Musk, sister of Elon Musk, the founder of PayPal and Tesla.

In addition to original content, the Passionflix website will feature interviews with authors whose books have been adapted, along with TED Talks and documentaries focusing on women. In May, Musk told the audience at the RT Booklover’s Convention in Atlanta that through their informative and educational content, they hope to further their message “to empower women through emotional strength.”

Passionflix is scheduled to launch September 1 and will cost $5.99 a month.
