Outlander fans, have we got a treat for you: Two new clips of Outlander season 3, episode 7! Sassenachs who love this season of the Starz adaptation based on Diana Gabaldon‘s Voyager will adore the newest Outlander sneak peeks, which show Fergus offering romance advice to Ian, as well as a sweet scene between Claire and Jamie.
The first clip exclusively released by Hollywood Life shows an exchange between adult Fergus and Ian, where Fergus encourages Ian to pursue a “bonnie” lass and divulges his own experience. Fergus is played by French actor César Domboy, while Ian is played by John Bell. Watch the full clip here.
Elle has also released an exclusive clip, and it’s incredibly romantic. In the preview, which you can watch here, an emotional Claire tells Jamie, “I’ve caused you so much trouble. Just dropped in out of the clear blue sky and put your livelihood, your life, in jeopardy.”
What Jamie then says to Claire is one of the most beautiful, tender moments of the series. He tells her:
“Sassenach, you came thousands of miles and two hundred years to find me. I’m grateful that you’re here, no matter the cost. I would give up everything I have for us to be together again. Don’t you see it? Since you’ve left, I’ve been living in shadows. Then you walked into the print shop, and it was as if the sun returned and cast out the darkness.”
Although the clip is only a minute long, it’s a powerful scene between the Frasers, who have been apart for 20 years. Gabaldon was even excited to share the Outlander video with fans on her Facebook page, dubbing it “a nice wee peek” at the upcoming episode.
Last week’s reunion between our favorite Scot and his lass after two decades apart was one of the most anticipated episodes of the season — and it delivered! It was also packed full of symbolism, foreshadowing, and even Easter eggs planted by Gabaldon herself. With the Frasers back in the same time period, the show promises more of these heartfelt scenes with our favorite couple.
The next episode of Outlander airs Sunday, October 29 at 8pm ET on Starz.
